Just posted a review of Thunderer by Felix Gilman on the site.

The book is wildly imaginative and intriguing, but it seemed to be missing something that would really put it into one of the best of 2008. Still it was very good and would have made the Honorable mentions on my year-end list for a debut novel.

Strangely, I haven't decided if I'm interested in releasing Gilman's recently released follow-up The Gears of the City. Anyone have any impressions of that novel?
