With all the lazy days of winter holidays and with the kick of the new year it has been a while since I had my last Fantasy Art post. But here it is the first artist of 2009 posts: Mats Minnhagen.

He is a Swedish artist who after pursuing an academic career turned to digital art, his favorite medium. He has a series of interesting works and one of them brought him a Master Award in Expose 6.

"Empire in Black in Gold" was a refreshing read and I enjoyed it. Next month will be published the next novel in the series, "Dragonfly Falling" and I believe that in August will be released "Blood of the Mantis". Until then I had the opportunity and pleasure to make an interview with Adrian Tchaikovsky.
