Sounds great! I didn't know it was a horror story, though, especially since I saw it in Fantasy Masterworks edition ...

I suppose it crosses genres to some extent but it's set in an entirely real India and the only element of fantasy is the supernatural, in my book that makes it horror. Whatever it's a great book and I hope you like it
