I'll be the first to break the ice. I'm Tia, and I run Fantasy Debut.

This place looks great. I hope it succeeds.

We need a graphic. Kristen?

H'lo all. I'm Amy. I blog about world building and other SF&F writing issues on Syngrafeas. Otherwise, I write and read SF&F, and occasionally even work in the cardiac ICU.

Looking really good cheers

I'll echo Aidan about the work you've put in, thanks! Smile

So, a little introduction. I'm Mark, live in North Wales and run Walker of Worlds, a blog focusing mainly on science fiction but other genres are slowly slipping in there Smile

Another Arizona blogger. I recently moved from Chandler up to Flagstaff (which is a great relieve after 10 years in the valley).

First of all, thank you!

It seems I'm the first reader in here.
So let me introduce myself:

'm 49 young/old happily married guy and father of a 17 years old daughter. And we all three share our life with two crazy cats - a tomcat called Pablo and a she-cat called Lili. Please look at:
http://legolasperlenuniversum.blogspot.com/search/label/Schmuser

Since 1991 I work as a programmer for the German subsidiary of a Japanese company. In the meantime I 'm member of the European IT of the company. So from time to time I visit other subsidiaries in order to work together with my European colleagues.

I like to read fantasy, sleuth, steampunk, mystery and also other if they are interesting...
But mostly I read fantasy and mystery.

Beside reading I like
- to visit medieval fairs and markets
- hear music (olides from the sixties, pagan-metal, gothic, and more)
- play games on PC, PS2, Wii (in the meantime no more time for gaming

Favourite games
PS2: Final Fantasy series
WII: Zelda, Super Mario Galaxy, Lego Indiana Jones..
PC: The Witcher, Oblivion, Morrowind, Anno 1702

Last movies I watched: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull , Nim's Island, X-Files: I want to believe, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian , The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, Hellboy II, The Dark Knight
I wait for: WATCHMEN, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

My favourite town is London. 2007 my wife and I spent one week in London. We will go again for two weeks in 2009.

I also like to go shopping. My wife likes it.

My picture shows a female archer. I have a tattoo of this archer on my left calf.

In former times I was a shy boy and I was used to give one word answers: YES, NO, MAYBE. Nowadays I like to communicate. Some times I feel like a chatterbox. So if you are interested in send me a message.

My profile name has a deeper meaning.
When you read it backwards you get Bona Fide which means:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Good_faith

MY TBR LIST CONTAINS to many BOOKS......

Best books I read so far in 2008:
1.) The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon
2.) The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss
3.) The Way of Shadows by Brent W
eeks
In April 2008 I started to dive in the wonderful world of social networks and blogs.

In the meantime I’m member of Goodreads, Wonderlands, David Gemmell Legend Award

Beside this I read a lot of blogs on a regurlarly base.

So I’m fully stretched and I love it…….

Ah, I forgot to mention: I'm a fan of quotes

QUOTES
"All we have is to decide what to do with the time that is given to us. "
— J.R.R. Tolkien (The Fellowship of the Ring)

"When I have a little money, I buy books; and if I have any left, I buy food and clothes."
— Desiderius Erasmus Roterodamus

"Books to the ceiling,
Books to the sky,
My pile of books is a mile high.
How I love them! How I need them!
I'll have a long beard by the time I read them."
— Arnold Lobel study study

PostSubject: Here's to good beginnings and never endings!   Mon Jan 12, 2009 3:06 pm

Hello, I'm Jen and I'm addicted to the internets.

Oh, this isn't Websurfer's anonymous? Woops.

Ok, seriously, so I'm here because I met Mulluane on twitter through Shaun Duke. Shaun Duke I met at school about a year and a half ago, and he's been bothering me ever since. Without him I would not be on this forum, etc etc.

I occasionally write reviews (though Duke berates me about my inconsistency and general lack of reliability all the time) for SQT's blog Fantasy and Sci-Fi Lovin' and I write Random Acts of Mediocrity when I feel like it. Occasionally it has something to do with sff, but more often than not it's about stationery and my terribly exciting life. I'm still getting the hang of the reviewing thing, I might have a Modern Lit degree but I try not to use it very often Razz

Anyway, it's good to be here and thank you to Mulluane for creating a fantastic place for the SFF blogging community!

The forum really looks fantastic!

Thanks for all your hard work!

Anyway, my name is Paul (no snazzy nickname for me) and I run a crappy little blog called Blood of the Muse which focuses mostly on science fiction and fantasy (though I've been known to read anything.)

I wish I had actual graphics ability. All graphics on my site were done by my fiance who is much better at that sort of thing than I am. He said he might be willing to do a graphic for us but I'll double check with him since he just started the semester again today (both school and teaching) and is going to be pretty busy.

Congrats on this guys - it is looking awesome!

My name is Liz, I've got a reading problem. Too many books, too few eyes.

I review over at My Favourite Books blog - I try to cover whatever publishers send me so it's pretty varied but my true love is fantasy, urban fantasy, young adult...okay, who am I kidding - I read because I'm a bookslut. lol!
