I'll use this thread to update new reviews and keep tabs on what I'm reading. For a complete list of reviews at Neth Space - http://nethspace.blogspot.com/2006/03/review-of-reviewskage-baker-anvil-of.html. Feel free to comment on things here or at the blog. Right now I'm currently writing up a review for The Hero of Ages by Brandson Sanderson and I've started reading Last Argument of Kings by Joe Abercrombie. It's always bitter-sweet to finish trilogies/series.

Hi Ken, I always read the last book of a series with mixed feelings. But I can promise you that Last Argument of Kings by Joe Abercrombie is the worth end of the trilogy. And there is a back door for more novels with some of the main actors. By the way so far I'm the only blog reader - I also read your blog and leave a comment from time to time - who entered this forum.

I've had a copy of LOK for almost a year, but I put off reading it because so many of us got advanced copies and everyone jumped on it. So, I'm looking forward to reading it. Well, I think it's safe to say that all of us bloggers are also blog readers (I have a hundred or so in my RSS reader). And your comments over at Neth Space are always appreciated.

I know that blogger read other blogs. And you follow a lot more blogs than I do. Thank you for compliment. I don't like to be a lurker. But I can understand lurker. I'm also not a blogger. I like to read books, I like to talk about books, I like to read blogs and I like to write comments. Therefore I define myself as the missing link between blogger and lurker. Therefore I appreciate your blog and you appreciate my comments.

My review of The Hero of Ages by Brandon Sanderson is up - I was very satisfied with this conclusion. I'm currently reading another series conclusion - Last Argument of Kings by Joe Abercrombie.

I'm late to the game, but I finally read Last Argument of Kings by Joe Abercrombie ( full review). He ended this series very well and I'm really looking forward to Best Served Cold - which Abercrombie just announced has ARCs printed. Now I'm reading Lamentation by Ken Scholes and I'm really enjoying it.

I finished up Lamentation by Ken Scholes ( review). I was really impressed with this debut - it's a series I really look forward to seeing more of. Next up is The Two Pearls of Wisdom by Alison Goodman (published as Eon: Dragoneye Reborn in the US). It really annoys me when a book has different titles for different markets - especially when on title is so much better than the other.

Last week I finished The Two Pearls of Wisdom by Alison Goodman. It's a decent YA crossover novel that I mostly enjoyed ( full review). In what I consider a rather stupid move, it was pubished under the uninspired title of Eon: Dragoneye Reborn in the US and the only slightly better title Eon: Rise of the Dragoneye in the UK. I think Australia is the only place the published it under the decent title (though the UK may have that version as well). Now I'm reading Twelve by Jasper Kent, which is proving to be quite good.

I finished up Twelve by Jasper Kent over the weekend. I found this to be fascinating book on multiple levels ( full review). I highly recommend it (though it's relatively internal nature won't appeal to everyone). Now I'm reading A Magic of Nightfall by S.L. Farrell.

I finished up A Magic of Nightfall by S.L. Farrell ( full review). I enjoyed this book (as I did A Magic of Twilight). It has a few issues, but overall, it's good epic fantasy that I think gets overlooked a bit too often. I'm reading Agent to the Stars by John Scalzi now.

I finished up Foundling ( Blood Monster Tattoo Book One) by D.M. Cornish last week and I finally got a review up. I really enjoyed it - definately a superb example of worldbuilding, but it doesn't sacrifice in story and characterization as often happens. Marketed as YA, it has cross-over appeal. I'm currently reading Buyout by Alex Irvine as a change of pace.

I finished up Buyout by Alex Irvine the other day. This is a great gook that has me still thinking about it long after finishing it. ( full review) Now I'm going to give Brent Weeks a shot and his The Way of Shadows - so far it is decidedly average.

I finished up The Way of Shadows by Brent Weeks. My feelings are mixed - it's a readable epic fantasy and I'll certainly read the sequels, but it seemed more uneven than many of the recent debuts that have received similar buzz. At times it read a bit too much like fan-fic. ( full review) Next up is World's End (Age of Misrule) by Mark Chadbourn.
