I'm currently reading two books in parallel as I usually do.

I'm reading The Secret War by M.F.W Curran and Blood Ties by Pamela Freeman

Both aren't what I was expecting.

The Secret War is starting off quite interesting. It's making me think of the spear seen at the start of Constantine. Someone finds and object on a battlefield and it's not a good thing to find. The thing I'm liking is the style and the short chapters.

Blood Ties has these great little asides about the minor characters giving a completely different perspective on them from their introductions. I'm also curious about how it's building up.

I think I have a copy of "The Secret War" on my way. I am very curious about this book and the other one by M.F.W. Curran, "The Horde of Mhorrer"

It's good to see a sequel though me being a funny stick haven't read anything about it, no until I've finished the first one. I guess I'm trying to avoid spoilers!

I reading THE SECRET WAR too.
So far I read 124 pages. and I liked it. But I won't give my final comment before I finished the book.
