Wow ... you really are keeping on top of things my friend

)
I'm thinking of starting a new post on books made into film ... Just watched 'The Water Horse' adapted from Dick King Smith's childrens book. I sobbed!!!! It was soooo cute, but brought up really deep issues considering it's a 5-8 years age book.
Another book I've just read is 'Firmin' by Sam Savage (Fiction book, hence off topic) about the importance of small independent bookshops, the personal history, and also those readers that frequent them. You gotta love a rat that loves books eh?! And one that cries about those he's ruined and lost ... sob. One of the best books I've read for yonks!
Mmmm... yet, that's still fantasy yes? because he's a rat that loves literature? yet, merchandised in the Fiction section of UK Bookshops.
I suppose I should start two new thread ... books to film ... and ... off topic books ... but it'll have to wait till tomorrow night. I'm bushwacked and need some shut-eye.
This reader is still here :O) So, no leavers please, and lurkers we'd be happy for a chin-wag

) That is, lots of chats.
