Cassandra Clare's City of Bones & City of Ashes; Holly Black's Tithe, Valiant & Ironside; Melissa Marr's Wicked Lovely & Ink Exchange; Libba Bray's A Great and Terrible Beauty & Rebel Angels; Daniel Waters' Generation Dead are to name some favs of mine.

Generation Dead was surprising as it deals with prejudice in a non-preachy manner. Can't wait for the follow-up.

We've been reading and chatting a lot about teen vampire novels lately too ... so I think I've read my fill of them for a while and want something a bit different.

I'm always looking for new YA urban fantasy recommendations for me and my friends (a mix of YA and Thirty-Forty-something women!). Would love any suggestions? And Liz at My Favourite Books blog has already helped us find some new titles lately that we're looking forward to getting soon Wink And, Thirteen Treasures is bought and on my teetering TBR pile already!
