Generation Dead was surprising as it deals with prejudice in a non-preachy manner. Can't wait for the follow-up.

We've been reading and chatting a lot about teen vampire novels lately too ... so I think I've read my fill of them for a while and want something a bit different.

I'm always looking for new YA urban fantasy recommendations for me and my friends (a mix of YA and Thirty-Forty-something women!). Would love any suggestions?
